MDG/COA question response.

PART ONE. Everyone cares about themselves. Only because it's the natural independence everyone has. Like when Zaroff gives his feelings towards life, basically saying that the strong are really the only ones with feelings and are supposed to hunt the week. Then, when it gets to the hunt, Rainsford abandons all consideration for the guy and sets out to kill him. Which makes sense [it's self defense]. As for the Poe story, for real, I could not keep track of what was going on to make heads or tales of who was good and who was bad. But I'm pretty sure someone killed someone. That means there was a murderer. So. Like. Murder is pretty selfish.

PART TWO. After people start to realize that others have feelings too, they start to care about people more. I care about other peoples feelings mainly because I know how it feels to be slammed into the dirt. And I wouldn't want anyone to feel that. Unless of course they have done something to get me to the point that I feel the need to...return the favor. Okay, if you are at a concert, your natural impulse is to shove and pull your way to the front, right? Exactly. Yeah, I guess you could say that's greedy and careless for others. That's the best example of me not caring that I could think of. Otherwise, I'm pretty considerate.
